“We all get lost once in a while, sometimes by choice, sometimes due to forces beyond our control. When we learn what it is our soul needs to learn, the path presents itself. Sometimes we see the way out but wander further and deeper despite ourselves; the fear, the anger or the sadness preventing us returning. Sometimes we prefer to be lost and wandering, sometimes it’s easier. Sometimes we find our own way out. But regardless, always, we are found.” —Cecelia Ahern (Thanks for the Memories)

“And George knew that he had to keep going, despite the feeling that at any moment he might slip or the ground under his feet might suddenly be taken away—he had to stay up, he had to keep moving, and in time he would learn how to do it.” —“The City of Windy Trees” by Simon Van Booy (from Love Begins in Winter) (via wearebasiclight) (via quote-book)

Best text converstion of the day:

Me: “Omg! We can work on our outline after the meeting and watch Gossip Girl at 8 as a reward!! Hehehe I’m a genius!”

Charlotte: “You are a genius! Haha sounds like a perfect plan.”

Anchors.

Anchors, in the form of people and relationships, there are very few in my life. From the ones I communicate on a near-daily basis to those who I get to see/talk to every once in a while if I am lucky… I just want to say thank you and I love you.

Anchors. Cherish them. Everyone’s life is busy and difficult. When an anchor gets a chance to cross your mind, remind them you love them. Every word and thought can change someone’s day if not their life.

Thanks for the random “good morning”, “have a good day”, “<3”, and “love you” text messages, everyone.

o_<

AH, just when hell week was about to be over… the wonderful weekend flies by in a blink of an eye and I discover that my calendar for the upcoming week is filled with meetings and events outside of class time. Eep.

But thank you to all who came on Charlotte’s and my shindig and for all the donations for Charity Water. Sure makes me want to host more events especially when there’s a good cause behind it (: Can’t wait for the next reunion party.

Until then, we are half way through the semester, so let the study and stress commence!
